One of the biggest problem facing the world today is the world’s oceans are filling up with waste plastic. People use too many plastics and throw them away, and this could be dangerous not only for human life but also all living things. This essay will examine some problems and solutions relating to increasing plastic waste that fills the oceans.

          First problems of the world’s oceans are filling up with waste plastic is able to kill living things in the oceans. For the example, when turtle eats plastic waste containing petroleum it will die from poisoning.  There is no doubt that plastic waste can endanger the lives of living things in the oceans. Another major problem is that it can cause water pollution. These days, about 10 billion tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year. This has harmful effects on the environment.

        It is important that action is taken to combat these problems. The government must strengthen regulations regarding the prohibition of disposing of plastic waste so people are afraid to do it. People also play an important role in overcoming that problem. They need to do small things, for example not littering and reducing the use of plastic bags with their own bags. Companies must also improve their technology in the form of factory waste processing.

         To conclude, increased plastic waste that fills the oceans has become a threat to the environment and living things. However, with the right action by individuals, governments and companies, some problems regarding waste plastic can be solved.

    in the 2nd paragraph, the word "end up" should be "ended up" because it occurs in the past and affecting the environment until now.
